In general, I absolutely love Frederic Fekkai's products! I am very very picky about my hair and have found that this is a volumizing shampoo without being drying. I highly recommend it!

I got little sample bottles of this stuff from a hotel in Vancouver, BC. I really like how clean my hair felt afterwards, and that it felt bouncier as well (can your hair feel bouncier?) Left my scalp feeling a little tight a couple of times, but once I had gone through the bottles, my hair/scalp had gotten used to the ingredients.
Not my favorite volumizing shampoo, that is reserved for Redkens Bodyfull line, but the closest thing to a runner up other than Aussie.

The best shampoo ever made, 2008-11-24

I have fine but thick, straight hair that doesn't ever want to keep any kind of volume for more than 5 minutes no matter what length it happens to be. I can curl my hair, but the curl is gone at the same time as the volume. I have used many variations of Redken, Matrix, Paul Mitchell, and more. I would have to wash my hair every day because it gets oily and looks dirty if I leave it for one day. With the Fekkai, I can go one day without washing and not look like a slob. The shampoo and conditioner make my hair keep its volume for at least the next 10 hours. It will also keeps its shape all day. I love taking my hand through the back of my hair and feeling that there is still volume.
Another good product to use is the Fekkai Root Lifter. I use it on my towel-dried hair and then blow dry. My hair keeps its style all day when I use it but doesn't weigh it down, make it greasy, or stiff.

Awesome shampoo, 2008-11-05

I have fine, thin hair and consequently have tried several volumizing shampoos. I find that this one does truly add volume to my hair, as well as making styling control a bit easier. And it does have a wonderful scent! I could stand in the shower all day washing my hair with this shampoo! :) I will continue to buy this product over and over again! It is my favorite so far!

This shampoo is great for really fine, flat, lifeless hair. Most other shampoos feel a bit like they are weighing down my hair. When I use this one, it cleans my hair and gives it some lift. It has at least twice the volume it usually does and it doens't go flat as quickly. It lathers up really nicely and has a yummy smell.
